About Victoria Justice
Actress and singer Victoria Justice was born February 19, 1993, in Hollywood, Florida. She developed an interest in acting as a young child, and when her family moved to California, she was accepted into the musical theater program at Los Angeles’ Millikan Performing Arts Academy.
She made her TV debut at age 10, with a guest role on Gilmore Girls. A year later she played a young pageant contestant on the Disney channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and then starred in the dramatic short Mary, which played the film fest circuit. In 2005, she landed a starring role in Nickelodeon’s new series Zoey 101. She played aspiring actress Lola Martinez, and the show ran for three years.
As Zoey 101 was winding down, Victoria flexed her musical muscle with a promotional single, a cover of the Vanessa Carlton song, “A Thousand Miles.” After the end of Zoey 101, she did several guest appearances on shows including The Naked Brothers Band, iCarly, and True Jackson.
In 2010, Victoria returned to Nickelodeon to star on her own musical show, Victorious, as Tori Vega, a teen studying singing, dancing, and acting at Hollywood Arts High School. The show also starred Ariana Grande. Victoria recorded several songs for the show, including “Make It Shine,” “You’re the Reason,” and “Freak the Freak Out.” Victorious ended in 2013, and she released her debut single, “Gold”, in June of that year. Then in 2015 an adult Victoria landed on MTV’s new dramatic thriller Eye Candy.
“I started off with Nickelodeon when I was 12 years old on Zoey 101, and then when I was 16 I got my own show, Victorious, and that ended when I was 19. I feel like a lot of the people that were watching me kind of grew up with me. … This is the next step, you know?” she told People. “I’m 21 years old now, so I think it’s appropriate for me to play my own age and to be playing around with more mature content, and that’s definitely what we’re doing at Eye Candy.”
Outside of music and acting, Victoria has been active with charities including United Nations Foundation, Girl Up, and Children’s Hospitals.
She previously dated actor Ryan Rottman and is now dating actor Pierson Fode.
