Pamela Horton has had a wild year as the Playboy’s Gamer Next Door. Not only has she gotten to check out some of the biggest conventions like Blizzcon, San Diego Comic Con and CES, she’s also been able to review some of the hottest games of 2013. What made the list? Check out the video or read below for Pam’s favorite hits of the year.It wouldn’t be a list without Rockstar’s epic Grand Theft Auto V. This game shocked gamers around the world as it quickly became not only the best game of the year, but the best game in the franchise. Next was Naughty Dog’s survival horror game The Last of Us which sold 3.4 million games in just three weeks/ Many fell hard for the story of Ellie and Joel as they trekked through a post-apocalyptic America, Pam included! And then there was Bioshock Infinite. Like GTA V, this title was greeted with universal acclaim for its beautiful graphics and original story. If you didn’t like Bioshock, you’re probably more into car racing games. While the console wars between PS4 and the Xbox One began late in 2013, Gran Turismo 6 was released. It’s a staple of Sony’s driving games for the past 15 years and the sixth title in the series goes above and beyond the other titles with the next-gen graphics and new hot rides gamers were able to choose from. Lastly, The Wolf Among Us by Telltale Games based on Bill Willingham’s popular Fables comic book series. Point and click is coming back in a big way with talk of not only a Borderlands title in the works for 2014 but also a Game of Thrones point and click as well!
