A media event before the pictures were even published, the Women of Wal-Mart feature generated such a surge of traffic that it temporarily crashed the website when the nude photos went live in November of 2003.

Cyber Girl of the Year: Every year, Cyber Club members choose one beautiful Cyber Girl of the Month to become Cyber Girl of the Year. Our inaugural "CGOY" in 2002 was Erika Michelle Barré, who posed for this unforgettable (and, yes, self-promotional) image on a secluded Puerto Vallarta beach.

Celebrity Guest Photographer: The job of Playboy photographer may be the most coveted in the world. So, when we made the offer to shock rocker Marilyn Manson to be one for a day, he gladly accepted the assignment and chose milky-skinned Dita von Teese to be his muse. Manson, the first of many A-list celebs to take his turn behind the lens for Playboy.com, shot some incredibly artistic photographs of his now fiancée Dita. Guess whose tatted arms drape the lovely Dita in this photo.

Cyber Girl of the Month: Stephanie Heinrich, Miss October 2001, was both our first Cyber Girl of the Week and our first Cyber Girl of the Month. We don't know what they put in the water in Ohio, but Stephanie must soak in it: She's one of many stunning Buckeyes to have posed for Playboy. We've been photographing Cyber Girls for four years now, but they say you never forget your first.

Mardi Gras: What happens at Mardi Gras stays at Mardi Gras...unless you tune in to Playboy.com's legendary Bourbon Street balcony shows. Over the last six years we've brought dozens of sexy models to the Big Easy, but few cut loose like Playmate Suzanne Stokes. In the pouring rain, 30 feet above a crowd of thousands of screaming admirers, agile Suzanne precariously balanced on a bar stool in six-inch heels. It was a heart-stopping sight to behold.

Marilyn Monroe: It is hard to believe that there were unpublished pictures of Playboy's original "Sweetheart of the Month" Marilyn Monroe sitting untouched in the Playboy library. Earl Moran's playful photos of young Norma Jean were taken years before she became the iconic Marilyn. It makes you wonder what else is sitting, undiscovered, in the vault.

Leilani Rios: Cal State-Fullerton cross country runner Leilani Rios was kicked off her track team when the coach learned of her part-time job as an exotic dancer. After Leilani was run out, Playboy.com ran in and contributed to her tuition fund in exchange for one memorable exclusive Cyber Club pictorial. It remains one of our most popular pictorials.
