Hef joins the ranks of Winston Churchill, Elvis Presley, JFK, Mother Theresa and Princess Di by getting A&E's esteemed Biography treatment. The two-hour profile "Hugh Hefner: American Playboy" conducts interviews with Hef, his friends, associates and family, and compiles them with rare photography, film clips and commentary by Camille Paglia and Ray Bradbury to tell the story of the Midwestern Methodist who invented men's entertainment. Hef told Variety, "It's more personal than anything done on me to date."
