In fall of 1963, an 18-year-old ballerina and theater-arts major from California arrived at Chicago's Playboy Mansion, where she'd stay during the shooting of her prospective Centerfold. Hef was instantly smitten with Donna Michelle, a stunner who exuded a strong animal magnetism. "We spent most of our free time making love -- in bed, in the shower, wherever," he recalls. Perhaps that affair was too hot to handle, as it was history within months, but Donna remains, says Hef, "one of the most unforgettable women I've ever known."
