Joyce Nizzari and Hef at Cannes

On a 1958 trip to Miami to shoot a feature called "Playboy's House Party," Hef met a brunette model named Joyce Nizzari and, as he says, fell "in love beneath the Miami moon." Joyce, who became July's cover girl and December's Playmate that year, was Hef's date at such memorable events as the Cannes Film Festival, the first Playboy Jazz Festival and John F. Kennedy's Presidential inauguration. Years later, after a couple of marriages and raising a family, Joyce works in the offices at Playboy Mansion West.
