Sex has led to many things for Bonnie Blue. It has given the adult creator viral notoriety, a bodycount in the thousands, a ban from Indonesia and likely at least a few zeroes in her bank account. Now, a month after having unprotected sex with 400 men over the course of two weeks, sex may be giving her something obvious: a pregnancy.
This week, Blue announced in a YouTube video that she received a positive result on an at-home pregnancy test, bringing viewers along as she allegedly confirmed the pregnancy with an ultrasound technician. Despite the video evidence, people are rightly suspicious of whether this development is genuine, or yet another one of Bonnie Blue’s stunts. The creator has become known for her viral stunts, including the current 400 men forray, and perhaps her most famous claim in which she says she had sex with more than 1,000 men in 12 hours. But this itself rouses another difficult question: in terms of the public spectacle, is one really any better than the other?
Blue is not the first to pursue this type of stunt-centric sexuality — record-breaking gangbangs were popular porn fodder long before the advent of OnlyFans — but she has become one of the biggest and most divisive names in the field. Continuously, it seems as though she is trying not only to raise the bar on how many men she can sleep with in whatever new and noteworthy parameter she can establish, but also how many news headlines she can generate from it. Take her arrest in Bali in 2025, for example: Blue alleged breaking of conservative religious Indonesia’s laws around adult video production as well as tourist visa laws yielded international media coverage that, despite the trouble, likely turned Blue into somewhat of a household name.
The benefits for her are obvious. More eyes on her name and antics means more subscribers to her page on OnlyFans-competitor Fansly, whether it be from arousal, curiosity or disgust. She moreover sells a fantasy that the male viewer could one day be at the right place at the right time when her “bang bus” pulls up and have a shot at sleeping with her themselves. And in a saturated world of adult content where videos of just about any desire can be found for free, it’s this dynamic that allows Blue to stand out and continue to profit.
Bonnie Blue is the Mr. Beast of porn. She has routinely found new ways of upping the ante, finding some new twist or challenge to keep people watching. But much like this style of YouTube video, the substance therein is often quite shallow. There is no doubt that Blue is traversing the depths of the human experience in many of her scenes, transforming sex into an endurance sport the likes of which had otherwise yet to be documented. With developments like this pregnancy, however, the kayfabe of it all is revealed. In that sense Blue is not only like Mr. Beast, but a professional wrestler: the story lines may be false, but it is still really her up in the ring.
Many other members of the adult industry have criticized Blue for these sorts of spectacles. Sophie Rain, for example — who claims to never do any nudity — tweeted “i really want to just have a talk with her and tell her she doesn’t have to do all this to make money 🥲 so saddening.” Meanwhile, other members of Rain’s Bop House collective have previously engaged in pregnancy scares in order to drum up publicity, though she and others have said this was their former managements’ doing.
Of course, if Blue really is pregnant (and decides to remain so), there is the very serious matter of the future child. (After showing a positive test in the video, Blue says, “I’m going to have to ChatGPT what to do next because I am actually not quite sure.”) Blue has said that she has the names and DNA of all the men who participated, but narrowing down precisely who the father is could still be a challenge. This is also, notably, not the first time Blue has claimed to be pregnant before revealing it to be a stunt. Last year, she announced a pregnancy and said she would be livestreaming the birth. Later, she said it was all a stunt to raise awareness around IVF.
Following skepticism over this recent pregnancy announcement, Blue has responded to critics by saying that “It’s my body and I can choose to share news about my pregnancy however I wish.” She has moreover stated that she still had “a job to do” and would continue her work on Fansly.
“Just because I’m pregnant, I’m not gonna forget to rage bait,” she said.
This itself brings up an even thornier issue: is Blue using an alleged pregnancy not only to gain attention, but to fetishize the pregnancy? Of course, pregnant women can still be sexual, and it is indeed her right to pursue both her pregnancy and her content creation as she pleases. So much of Blue’s work as an adult performer is about both pushing limits and defying the expectations of the human body. After all, sleeping with hundreds of men in a short period of time is an exhausting feat. Maybe then all this represents one of the last frontiers in the world of stunt pornography. Pregnancy has always been one of the underlying risks of sex, nevermind that with thousands of men.
For the Mr. Beast of pornography, maybe being pregnant is her greatest trick of all.
