In the words of Miss January 2025 Jordyn Johnson, “You should never date any man that doesn’t like an animal. Biggest red flag ever.” From her mouth to your ears: want to date a playmate? Get a dog. Playboy teamed up with Hot Girls Care, an LA-based non-profit that saves dogs in danger of euthanasia at over-crowded shelters, to help them get some of their sweet pups adopted, so now is your big chance. The organization is based on the idea that it’s actually really hot to care—and we couldn’t agree more, as evidenced by the photos below.
Madison Giammona started Hot Girls Care after fostering her own dog, Myles. Seeing the state of LA shelters, Giammona teamed up with animal shelter volunteer Kat Typaldos and created the organization, using viral content, community events, and a transparent funding structure to focus resources toward getting dogs out of kill shelters and into their forever homes.
To help that mission, two of our favorite hot girls who care, Miss March Taylor Hale and Johnson, posed with pups Como, Scotty, Venice, Ember, and Cowboy—all of which are up for adoption right now. So stare deep into their eyes and see if you can find your soulmate (we’re talking about the dogs, by the way). If you feel a connection, reach out to Hot Girls Care at [email protected] and ask to adopt!
As Hale says: “Be a good boy, adopt these dogs.”

Como

Como is a living miracle. He was abandoned in the high desert at just two weeks old with his nine siblings, left with no food or water. He was the runt of the litter, and he’s completely blind, but that doesn’t get. him down. He’s a happy, smart dog, who would thrive with a doggy sibling at home.
Scotty

Sweet Scotty is an independent dog who “takes being chunky very seriously,” Hale says, noting he’s always first at the food bowl. Scotty needs an active family to take him on hikes and give him all the attention he deserves.

Venice

Venice is “the ultimate girl’s girl,” says Hale. A gentle girl who loves to be held, Venice would love a quiet night in with you, or a chill hang with the girls.

Ember

Ember was Hot Girls Care’s very first sanctuary dog. She spent 220 days in a shelter, and she’s ready for the royal treatment. Ember needs to be the “pampered princess of a single-dog home,” Hale says.
Cowboy

Cowboy is the ultimate gentle giant. He’s a lapdog in a huge dog’s body who hates working out as much as you do. “He’s my type of dog,” says Hale. He loves to do nothing!
