Snuggle up in your bed and close your eyes. Imagine there's an invisible barrier around your bed, that holds off and protects you from all your anxieties, fears and worries and everything that has happened or will happen.

You're safe in your bed. You get to just rest and sleep, your bed has no demands on you.

Affirmation: I'm in my safe have, I am protected.

Sometimes it's hard to work out our differences when we don't have enough space. So take a step back to create room for authentic conversation. Perhaps you need to consult with a therapist to guide you through the emotional thicket, or maybe you just need some new tools for healthy communication. Lie down, place your hands on your diaphragm and close your eyes. breathe in and out, gently. Feel your hands going up and down on your body.

Diaphragm is the muscle that tenses when you are stressed or afraid. If your diaphragm feels tight or tense, it's difficult to breathe gently. Try to expand your breath and do just a few of these breaths at a time.

Affirmation: I am gentle towards myself.

When you're focused on living up to other people's standards, you aren't spending enough time raising your own. Some folks expect you to act a certain way and march to the beat of their boring drum. They find safety in sameness. But you have beautiful music inside you. Your flair is meant to be shared. Don't shrink or fit in or get approval. Instead, dump your need to please and just be your magnificent self.

Lie in bed. Place your left palm on your right shoulder and your right palm on your left shoulder. Press and massage your shoulders until you can feel the blood circulating in your upper body area.

Finally rest your palms on your shoulders and let your palms continue to warm them. Close your eyes.

It's easier to fall asleep without any muscle tension.

Close your eyes and lie comfortably. Notice any restlessness in your mind and body. Visualize blowing out all the tension in your mind and body with every breath you exhale. Try giving the thoughts or feelings a shape or color.

Letting go of anxious thoughts and charged tensions will help you fall asleep.
