Zedd is a famous DJ man. There are many famous DJ men, such as Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki and Skrillex, but Zedd is a Russian-born German DJ man whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, which is hard to pronounce and probably why he goes by “Zedd.”

Zedd has produced some hits for artists like Ariana Grande and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Last year, Zedd threatened to leave the U.S. if Donald Trump became president, but then he decided to stay. These are just some of the facts I know about Zedd from browsing his Wikipedia page.

Now, you might know why Zedd has the clout to create his own over-ear, high definition headphones alongside Japanese engineering and design team Double Zero, because I didn’t. The all-black or all-white cans are pretty good looking, and they’re nice and sleek and retail for a reasonable $199, and the famous DJ man says he wanted to create headphones that “don’t only look and feel incredible, but also sound REAL,” according to his Facebook page.

I don’t know what that means. They’re called Double Zero headphones, but he should’ve called them Zeddphones.

Do the Zeddphones (missed opportunity) sound REAL? No one can say for sure, except Zedd. But if Zedd or someone from Zedd’s team would like to send me a pair of Zeddphones to try, so I can make an informed decision about whether or not they do indeed sound REAL and whether or not I look dope while making beats that go as hard as Zedd’s chart-topping 2012 hit “Clarity” (Wikipedia), please do.

The Zeddphones are available for preorder on April 19, according to Zedd.
