What Does It Takes to Be a Playboy Bunny?

Playboy Club New York
Casting has closed. Check back in the near future for more opportunities to become a part of Playboy Club New York.

For more than 60 years, the iconic Playboy Bunny has been an international symbol of pleasure and the good life. In fact, the costume is featured in the Smithsonian as a “true national treasure” and is the only service uniform to earn a U.S. patent—not to mention the sexiest.

Created by Zelda Wynn Valdes, who designed for Ella Fitzgerald and Mae West, the internationally renowned costume has been reimagined by designer Roberto Cavalli and fashion house Moschino. Celebrities and socialites from Paris Hilton to Reneé Zellweger have sported the ears and tail. Think you have what it takes to make the Playboy Bunny costume shine? Good news: The legendary Playboy Club is returning to New York City for the first time in more than 20 years, and we’ve casted a new generation of models and entertainers to slip on the ears and become the ultimate ambassadors of the good life.

Since the first Playboy Club opened in Chicago in 1960, Playboy Bunnies have held a globally recognized, well-deserved reputation for their style and graciousness. As ambassadors of the Playboy brand, Bunnies are in the full costume whenever representing the Club or Lounge. There may also be additional opportunities to represent the brand including interacting with the media, attending offsite events and posing for photo shoots. Bunny duties also include greeting guests, taking drink orders, opening bottles of wine and champagne, understanding the menu and ensuring customer comfort. Needless to say, this position requires excellent communication and service skills.
