About Kendall Jenner
Model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner was born November 3, 1995 in Los Angeles to Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner and television personality Kris Jenner. She was raised with younger sister Kylie Jenner as well as eight half-siblings including Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Robert Kardashian, her mother’s children from her first marriage.
Kendall came into the spotlight when her family began the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2007. “It started so early that it’s the only thing I can remember,” she told Allure. “Kylie and I had to grow up in front of people, and it was hard sometimes … but it was never a negative thing.”
Kendall signed with Wilhelmina Models at age 14 and quickly found success working for Forever 21 and in magazines like Vogue, Raine, Seventeen, Elle, and GOGIRL! In 2011 she walked the runway for the first time New York Fashion Week. “When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out,“ Kendall told Allure. "It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself.”
In 2013 Kendall began working with The Society Management. She did editorial spreads for W and V and kicked up her runway work, walking in New York, Paris, and London for designers including Marc Jacobs, Giles Deacon, Givenchy, and Chanel. In 2014 LOVE magazine called Kendall the “it girl of the season.”
Her modeling success continued, and Kendall became the face of Estee Lauder. She made Models.com’s Top 50 list, and ranked as the most followed model on Facebook and Instagram. In 2015 Kendall became the Queen of New York Fashion Week with the most liked Instagram photo from the event. And GQ named her the world’s coolest woman.
Unlike most models today Kendall does not have any tattoos. “I have a really weird thing about ‘forever,'” she told Allure. “And my sister Kim always said, 'Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.’”
In addition to modeling, Kendall still makes reality TV show appearances and has appeared in music videos and in TV show guest spots, including “Hawaii Five-0.” With sister Kylie, she has a line of clothing at TopShop. Kendall has also done charity work for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and posed for a T-shirt to support Designers Against AIDS.
