Romanoff's, in Hollywood, is a restaurant conceived and perpetrated by a Graustarkian "prince," and perpetuated by people whose lives are a mixture of illusion and reality so heady that it's often unclear where one begins and the other leaves off. This is poetically just, since its founder, Mike Romanoff, had himself led a life of so many guises that his real identity was frequently obliterated in the scuffle.
