On Veterans Day a few years ago I was invited by the local chapter of the Sigma Phi fraternity to speak at Cornell University. I took the gig happily because I enjoy talking with students, but I also wanted to see the place where one of my good friends, a Cornell graduate, had lived during his college years.His name was Michael Deuel.
