The strange title isn't the only thing that surprised us about Sega's Seaman. More virtual pet than game, Seaman allows players to grow a bizarre creature with a human face and (depending on the environment) the body of a fish, frog or tadpole. Sega hired Leonard Nimoy to narrate, so players can hold realistic conversations with their creatures through a microphone, which fits into a Dreamcast controller.
