Pennelope Jimenez is nomadic by nature. "I was born in San Diego, but my entire family is from Ensenada," she says. "I lived there for a few years and then moved to Mexico City just before the big earthquake. I lived in Garden Grove, California for three years and then went to junior high and high school in Corona before settling in Huntington Beach."
