On September 11 a judge in Pittsburgh sentenced Tommy Chong, half of the comedy team Cheech and Chong, to nine months in federal prison for violating the law that makes it illegal to sell or transport drug paraphernalia. As part of a plea agreement, Chong, 65, closed his three-year-old business, Chong Glass, and forfeited its inventory, $103,514 in cash and two websites, as well as his personal collection of bongs.
