Spike in ControversySpike Lee (20Q, August) implies that Driving Miss Daisy didn't deserve to win the Oscar for best picture and that Al Pacino's performance in Scent of a Woman was less deserving of a best actor award than Denzel Washington's performance in Malcolm X the same year.
