Darwin's DetractorsIn his essay in Faith & Reason (April) Michael Ruse loyally defends Charles Darwin. He declares that all decent scientists oppose the malignant intelligent-design nonsense, yet he doesn't manage to address how random mutation and natural selection could actually produce the amazing complexity of life.
