Liquid Fire

2'A oz. bourbon 2% oz. boiling watei 1 tsp. sugar lemon peelUse two large silver-plated mugs with handles. Put the whiskey in one and the water in the other. Ignite the whiskey, and as it blazes, mix both ingredients by pouring them from one mug to the other. It will appear as a stream of blue liquid fire. Sweeten with sugar and garnish with lemon peel. Serve in a four-ounce stemmed mug.
