We hold our College Fiction Contest just once a year. As usual, the winning entry is worth the wait. After sorting through hundreds of submissions, we chose Hot Damn by Martha Stallman of Texas State University. Stallman takes us with persevering Pete as he goes to the mailbox with his dog to pick up his disability check so he can pay Lucy, the hooker who provides him with "girlfriend experiences."
