October marks the end of tomato season, and we have the perfect way to use up some of those extra cherry tomatoes languishing in your garden. No, we’re not about to suggest another sauce. This idea is much more, well, saucy. Try a smoked tomato martini, garnished with those very tomatoes you’ve been procrastinating on picking. They’re a perfect garnish for this early fall drink.
Here’s the recipe, and watch January 2025 playmate Jordyn Johnson prepare it below.
Smoked tomato martini
Over ice, add:
2 oz smoked tomato oil washed gin.
1 oz tomato vermouth.
4 drops salt solution.
Stir.
Prepare cherry tomato garnish.
Pour into your preferred glass, sans ice. Add 4 to 6 drops spicy tomato oil.
Enjoy!
