She's taken her power back, and she's ready to fly.
It’s fair to say that in the last decade or so, popular music superstar Kesha has been through hell (which she has written about extensively in her music). Luckily, she’s finally taking back her power, and starting her rebirth. What better way to celebrate than by being Playboy’s Spotlight of the month?
We can think of no better candidates to cap off 2024 than with the pop songbird sent from above. Her Playboy Spotlight shoot, directed by Brooke James, depicts Kesha as an angel. Her depiction as a divine being is far more Old Testament than new. Instead of being armed with grace, she’s got her bow and arrow aimed at anyone who would dare clip her wings.
Kesha’s 2024 has luckily, been one of her best in recent memory. In June, she released her first single since last year’s hit album, the aptly named “Gag Order.” “Joyride” has garnered more than 80 million views on Spotify since hitting the airwaves, and portends her sixth album which is slated for a 2025 release.
