When Charli xcx rebranded her finsta @360_brat to @b.sides (and made it public), people had questions. It seems we have now officially gotten our answer.
According to Charli in a new video, she plans to release a b-side for every song ahead of her upcoming studio album—tracks that felt connected to the album’s world but ultimately didn’t make the cut. And she has no intention of putting any of them on streaming services.
“So basically I made a record, and whilst making the record, I made a few songs that felt like a part of the world of the album, but I kind of knew they weren’t ever going to be on the album,” she reveals.
“Playboy Bunny” is the b-side to her latest single “SS26,” dropping Saturday, May 23 exclusively on Instagram and as a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl record. Physical copies are unsurprisingly sold out on her online store but will be available in limited quantities in stores at select locations in the US, Canada, UK, and France.
