It had never occurred to us, until we saw an ad for Kellogg's Rice Krispies in a Danish magazine, that this crunchy breakfast cereal is not only noisy but multilingual. When doused with milk in Denmark, according to the copy, it goes "Pif! Paf! Puf!"--which we gathered is Danish for "Snap! Crackle! Pop!"
