Hammering Clifford Odets' mundane play about Noah, The Flowering Peach, into a musical comedy was a bad idea to begin with, and it's been made worse by clumsy execution. Two by Two, the new Richard Rodgers musical, exists largely as fodder for matinee ladies who can identify with Mrs. Noah.
