If you were merely lucky, you may have been one of the many who caught Bob Dylan's 1974 big-city tour with The Band, when a scruffy little speck on a far-off stage spat out his lyrics and sped away in a limousine. If you were dumbly, sublimely lucky late in 1975, you were one of the few who stumbled onto the Rolling Thunder Revue, a caravan of folkies and rockers and country pickers led by Dylan and Joan Baez, playing small theaters in small towns for one-night performances advertised a few days...
