Some peripheral horseplay by James Caan and Elliott Gould, as a pair of vaudeville song-and-dance men back in the Gay Nineties, almost conquers the weaknesses of Harry and Walter Go to New York, a fairly flabby period comedy that looks like The Sting without the style.
