Europe: The Outer Limits

In the Spirit of last summer, the New Wave of European designers seems to be suggesting that loose living is the mode for the winter months to come. The look is big, burly coats over outerwear jackets over bulky cowl-neck sweaters. In other words, the layered look again but beefed up--really beefed up--with contrasting fabrics and textures and dark, murky colors.
