Idol Gossip: Paramount executives were so thrilled by Saturday Night Live--er Eddie Murphy's performance in 48 HRS. that the studio has signed him to an exclusive multipic pact in which the 21-year-old actor will develop and star in film projects over the next few years. Murphy's first effort for Paramount will be Trading Places (formerly titled Black and White), in which he will co-star with Dan Aykroyd, Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche.
