Faithful Readers of this column will recall that it began six months ago with a bold prediction: the demise of a major network--NBC--during the next ten years.May I amend that ever so slightly? The forces conspiring against the networks are no less powerful than they were. Still, on further reflection. I'm ready to concede that it may be impossible to lose money running a network.
