Veteran Director Stanley Donen has managed to beat the odds against recycled cinema. He took a bland, all-but-forgotten French comedy titled One Wild Moment (by Claude Berri), commissioned a sprightly new screenplay by Charlie Peters and Larry Gelbart—Gelbart's laundry list of credits includes Tootsie—and came up with a winner in Blame It on Rio (Fox).
