Any resemblance between the original pocket calculator and the sophisticated Lilliputian devices pictured below is truly coincidental. Aside from doing arithmetic, three of these models—Casio's Digital Diary/Pocket Calculator, Seiko's Dayfiler and The Calling Card—act as electronic appointment calendars, memo pads and phone books, recording dates, names and numbers for future reference.
