Joe Martin has always been prolific. By the time he was 20, he had four children; now, at 41, the Wisconsin-based cartoonist produces three daily strips that appear in 300 newspapers: Willy'n Ethel, Porterfield and the two-year-old, highly successful Mister Boffo.
