A few weeks ago, I noted to myself (as others around me fled from my shrieks) that the funniest sports book on the current market wasn't meant to be.The book in question was The History of the P.G.A. Tour, as in golf, published by Doubleday, as in Bantam Doubleday Dell, and all the ships at sea. I say "was" in this case because the book may have disappeared by now.
