The Hyde Solution

Republican Congressman Henry Hyde of Illinois is sick of "politically correct" universities' telling students what they can and cannot say. His solution lies in his bill, the Collegiate Speech Protection Act of 1991, HR 1380, which reads, "A post-secondary institution ... shall not make or enforce any rule subjecting any student to disciplinary sanctions solely on the basis of conduct that is ... protected ... by the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States."...
