Abolish the death penalty. In the past few years we've witnessed the release of dozens of death row inmates wrongfully convicted by a justice system that falls far short of what it should be. This injustice can result from overzealous prosecution, the withholding of evidence by district attorneys and law enforcement officers, the manipulation of witnesses, or the cutting of deals with criminals and/or accomplices who turn snitch to save their hides.
