It's called irony—the difference between what is implied and what really is. In The Ugly Truth, Bree Turner (who in truth is not ugly) plays best friend to Katherine Heigl (ditto). Bree's character, Joy, is anything but joyful. "She hasn't had sex in a couple of years," Bree explains, "and she's really jonesing for it. There's a scene where Katherine and I meet Eric Winter in a coffee shop. Eric is a gorgeous dude. He buys us coffee, and I dry hump the air for 20 seconds."...
