WHAT IS AMERICA GOOD AT?To figure out where America can go as a country, we need to understand what we're good at. Given recent events, this is best achieved through a process of elimination. For example, one thing we're not good at is creatingjobs—the past decade is the first in modern U.S. liistory during which we failed to create net new jobs. We're also not so good at building bridges or roads or airports. Not that we can't, but we haven't really tried since Dwight Eisenhower was president....
