Our January/February 2014 issue marked 60 years of Playboy. To commemorate the milestone, supermodel Kate Moss appeared on the anniversary issue cover donning the iconic Playboy Bunny Suit—two symbols of beauty and power combined for an unforgettable cover image. For more than 20 years, Moss was the last supermodel to wear the Suit for Playboy, but our latest cover star has ended that streak.
Playboy’s 2026 cover star Cara Delevingne zipped up her Bunny Costume for her shoot, and it sure suits her well.

The Suit, which turned 65 last year, made its debut on February 29, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois at the opening of the first Playboy Club as the official uniform of the women working in the clubs. In the ensuing years, the suit became a status symbol—something only a select group of women have worn, including greats like Pamela Anderson, Sally Field, Dolly Parton, and, of course, Kate Moss.
Now, Delevingne joins that exclusive club as she makes her Playboy debut, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With an album on the horizon, a movie freshly under her belt, and shortly after coming out publicly as a lesbian, Delevingne feels more in control than ever.
“I’ve never felt more comfortable in my body and in my sexuality,” she tells author Ottessa Moshfegh in her cover interview. “I feel like I’m in more of my prime as a woman and as a sexual being.”
