The Playboy Rabbitars Primary Sale took place in the Fall of 2021. Here’s a breakdown of how the sale was executed. To buy a Rabbitar on the secondary market, visit the official collection page on OpenSea.
Phase 1: Sunday, October 24—Tuesday, October 26: Pre-Sale for ETH-Paying Collectors
Who it’s for: Lucky ETH-paying collectors who get “whitelisted.” Getting whitelisted means that you have a reserved spot, and the way to get whitelisted is to hang out with us! Join our Discord and follow us on Twitter for details on how to snag a spot. (We’ll be giving away spots randomly throughout our activations, so make sure to hang throughout the week for your opportunity.) Each whitelisted collector will have the ability to purchase up to two Rabbitars during the presale.
How does it work? Once the ETH whitelist sale opens on the 24th, you will have until Tuesday, October 26th at 10AM PST to mint up to two Rabbitars using ETH. All whitelisted wallets will be able to mint, so you can choose a time when gas prices are lower to obtain your Rabbitar.
When will I get my Rabbitar? Rabbitars minted by the ETH whitelist crew will be delivered to collectors’ MetaMask wallets instantly in the form of a placeholder token with the full art reveal to come at a TBD date during the week of October 25th.
Phase 2: Tuesday, October 26: Public Sale for Fiat-Paying Collectors
Who it’s for: Crypto newbies who want to purchase using fiat (USD)! We’re excited to welcome more collectors into the community, so we’re offering a limited quantity of Rabbitars for sale via fiat. However, as we mentioned above, anyone purchasing via fiat currency will still need to connect their MetaMask wallet to complete their transaction. (Here’s a helpful instructional video). Anyone purchasing via fiat will incur a processing fee to cover the gas costs related to their purchase. Each collector purchasing on this day will be able to purchase up to 10 Rabbitars. All ETH collectors, including those previously whitelisted, are welcome to participate in this sales day, too, so long as they use fiat.
When will I get my Rabbitar? At the end of the fiat sale, Playboy will mint the Rabbitars and deliver them to collectors’ wallets over the course of the following 24 hours in the form of a placeholder with the full art reveal to come later in the week.
Phase 3: Wednesday, October 27: Public Sale for ETH-Paying Collectors
Who it’s for: All ETH paying collectors can purchase the remaining inventory (up to 10 Rabbitars per wallet)!
When will I get my Rabbitar? Rabbitars minted during the public ETH sale will be delivered to collectors’ wallets immediately in the form of placeholder tokens, with the full art reveal to come later in the week.
If the Rabbitars have sold out on this site, you can view, bid on and purchase Rabbitars from the official collection on OpenSea.
