Here she comes, Hollywood’s latest It girl, weaving through the paparazzi. What’s she wearing? The answer, in all likelihood, is Missguided. Founded in 2009, the U.K.-based brand has amassed countless celebrity devotees and 6.5 million Instagram followers from around the globe. But there are more important numbers: Missguided’s insistence on offering a broad range of clothing sizes and price points makes it accessible to customers the fashion industry tends to ignore.

“My family history is wrapped up in apparel,” says Missguided CEO Nitin Passi, who founded the company in his mid-20s. “My grandfather owned a factory in the 1970s, and my father started an import business selling to apparel retailers.” With bold entrepreneurship in his blood, Passi set out to carve his own path in the fashion industry. With Missguided, he targets unabashed and digital-savvy women. The business is designed to operate swiftly, responding to customer requests and the latest trends with daily drops. Its offerings typically retail for $20 to $70, with sizes ranging from 0 to 20.

Missguided’s notable collaborations, which have included partners such as Amber Rose, Jourdan Dunn and Pamela Anderson, kicked off in 2014 with former Pussycat Doll frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger. When Scherzinger’s fans saw her in the collection, they devoured it—practically overnight the company became a worldwide brand, selling to more than 160 countries.

For Playboy’s new Missguided collaboration, Reloaded, Passi’s brand and ours were guided by a common cause.

“Our mission is to empower females to look and feel great for every occasion, and everything we do as a brand is centered around that,” Passi says. “The Missguided customer takes ownership of how she looks and what she wears.”

The 76-piece collection features Playboy x Missguided best-sellers (some dating back to the original collection) alongside brand-new streetwear-inspired silhouettes with tie-dye elements, graffiti-style details and neon colors. As with previous Playboy collabs, this one is created for playfully rebellious women of all stripes.
