This spring Playboy and Missguided continued their iconic collaborative hot streak with Reloaded, a 76-piece street-inspired collection that includes new designs and relaunched favorites, with a mission of empowering women.
“The Missguided customer takes ownership of how she looks and what she wears,” founder Nitin Passi tells Playboy. “Everything we do as a brand is centered around that.”
Plenty of our Playmates seem to agree. In fact, several members of the Playmate sisterhood recently repped their love for the launch by collaborating with the campaign.
Familiar faces to Playboy fans Raquel Pomplun (2013 Playmate of the Year), Alana Campos (September 2012), Stephanie Branton (September 2014), Ashley Doris (March 2013), Monica Sims (September 2015) and Jordan Emanuel (2019 Playmate of the Year) donned Missguided merch for their self-directed photo shoots; see outtakes below.
In addition to posing in their favorite Missguided outfits and sharing the results on their social channels, four of the Playmates sat for individual Q&A sessions with Missguided’s babeZine blog, going deep on their hopes and motivations. Asked what she aims to do with her platform, Raquel Pomplun replies that she hopes to empower women in their sexuality. “It is very important for us women to understand that we have desires and needs,” she says. “It’s okay to have questions and to ask them, it’s okay to have preferences, it’s okay to be curious, it’s okay to want.” We couldn’t agree more.
