How OnlyFans Helped Lisa Buckwitz Get to the Olympics

We talked to the German competitor who credits OnlyFans with her appearance at the Winter Games.

Lisa Buckwitz has been pretty busy lately. On one hand, she manages a successful OnlyFans page, posting new content and connecting with her fans regularly. On the other, she’s an Olympic athlete. The German bobsledder and 2018 gold medalist is an OnlyFans athlete, offering subscribers a behind-the-scenes look at her rigorous training and lifestyle.  On her page, Buckwitz offers insight into fitness routines, her diet, and how she mentally prepares for competition.

Buckwitz, who posed for Playboy Germany in 2022, has even credited her OnlyFans hustle with helping to fund her Olympic bid. As she competes in the 2026 Winter Games, Playboy caught up with Buckwitz to talk about balancing her Olympian lifestyle with her content creation.

What is it like balancing OnlyFans content creation with training for the Olympics?

For me, sport always comes first. Training, recovery, and competition are non-negotiable. Content creation fits around that, not the other way around. I mainly use it to stay in touch with my fans, and I’m very open about the fact that there are days when I don’t post or reply.

What are your subscribers like? What sorts of requests do they make?

Most subscribers are respectful and supportive. Many are simply interested in me as a person, not just as an athlete. I’m very clear about my boundaries, and those are not up for discussion. Requests stay within what I’m comfortable with. There’s no explicit content, and I don’t compromise my values or my role as a professional athlete.

Do you see a connection between your role as an athlete and modeling?

Yes, absolutely. Both are about body awareness, discipline, and confidence. As an athlete, I’ve learned to respect my body for what it can do. Modeling or content creation is just another way of expressing that.

How has OnlyFans helped you achieve your goals as an athlete?

For me, OnlyFans is a sponsor like any other. They support my bobsleigh team, and in return I present them on my advertising spaces. Since I have to cover some of my own costs as an athlete and teamleader, this support is a huge help and allows me to fully focus on my sport.

What is your favorite part of content creation? Least favorite part?

My favorite part is the control—deciding what I show, how I present myself, and when. I also enjoy the direct communication without filters.

The least favorite part is the public debate around it. People often talk about you instead of with you, and many opinions are based on assumptions rather than facts.

And lastly—how are you feeling now that you’re in Cortina? Anything to share about your event?

I feel focused and grateful. Being here is the result of years of work, setbacks, and perseverance. Right now, it’s about trusting the process, staying calm, and doing what I’ve trained for. I’m excited—not nervous and I’ll be ready to compete.
