What are the Best Player Props for Sunday Night Football: Packers at Steelers?

Tucker Kraft (Green Bay Packers): Anytime TD (+140)

Pittsburgh has been middle-of-the-pack against the run, but once teams get inside the red zone, they aren’t even trying to hand it off; the Steelers are in the bottom-third of seeing RZ rush attempts and have only allowed three rushing TDs all season, with all of them coming in September.

This sets up an interesting scenario, considering Green Bay’s Josh Jacobs has 16 RZ carries (and 6 TDs) over the last three games. I feel like Pittsburgh will stack it up, not only in the RZ, but most of the night around the field. Kraft has found paydirt in each of his last two games, and in four of the last six. Also, Pittsburgh has the third-most RZ targets allowed per game (2.0) to TEs and has allowed four TDs to the position overall this season.

Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers): Over 237.5 Passing Yards (-115)

As I mentioned, Pittsburgh probably stacks it up to defend Jacobs and the Green Bay running attack. Love finds himself in a profitable spot here, and we don’t have to look too far back into history to see how this matchup has played out for opposing QBs – all of whom Love is better than.

Carson Wentz (who just looked terrible on TNF) threw for 350 yards in Week 4, while the aging Joe Flacco (signed nine days prior) just threw for 342 last week. In fact, every single QB to face the Steelers this season has gone over their passing yard prop. What a fascinating stat!

The Packers are in an even better spot than most teams, considering they have Kraft at TE and a full complement of WRs that can make life a living hell on the Steelers’ secondary.

Pat Freiermuth (Pittsburgh Steelers): Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Freiermuth just went bananas in his last game, hauling in five catches (on six targets) for 118 yards and two touchdowns. On Sunday, he’ll get another favorable matchup against a Packers defense that is funneling targets to TEs. In fact, Green Bay is allowing 10.5 targets per game (4th-most in NFL) to TEs, which has resulted in 8.3 TE catches per game (most in the NFL).

The odds look pretty grim for Freiermuth, whose expected receiving yard line is set at 18.5, and only 1.5 receptions. I usually shy away if I see a misnomer like that, but the proof is in the pudding here, and Freiermuth basically needs to not be a mannequin on the field.
