Since Jim Morrison's death, The Doors have been trying to regroup their musical forces. Judging from Other Voices (Elektra), they haven't been wholly successful. The disc contains good songs and instrumental work often spoiled by mindless lyrics and tasteless experiments in styles. As usual, Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek are more than competent on guitars and keyboards, while John Densmore's drumming leaves much to be desired.
