Best NFL Bets for MNF: Bills vs Falcons & Bears vs Commanders

We get a Monday Night Football doubleheader to cap off Week 6 of the NFL season, featuring the Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders. Between the two games, we are going to see some of the most exciting young QBs in the game, so buckle up for a jam-packed night of excitement.

The Bills-Falcons game kicks off first at 7:15 pm ET, and this will be the first time the teams have met since the 2021-22 season. Buffalo is a 4.5-point road favorite, down a bit from its opening -5.5, with the total at 49.5 points.

At 8:15 pm ET, we’ll get Bears-Commanders in the second half of the doubleheader. Washington is also a 4.5-point favorite, a year after beating Chicago on a last-second Hail Mary, and we have a 49.5-point total here as well. Real original!

Without further ado, let’s get into the best bets from both Monday Night Football games tonight, with the Bills at Falcons, followed by the Bears at Commanders.

What are the Best Bets for the Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons game?

Matt Prater (BUF): Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (+110)

Atlanta’s defense has been very annoying to opposing teams, which has forced them to opt for three points instead of six. In fact, successful field goals have been incrementally increasing at a steady rate against the Falcons, allowing one in the season opener, and then two, three, and finally four in their last game against the Commanders.

Several factors go into this outcome, but the proof is in the pudding. One stat to note is that Atlanta hasn’t allowed a QB to complete 20+ passes in a game this season. Prater will undoubtedly be put to the test, and plus-odds here seem clinically insane.

Bijan Robinson (ATL): 110+ Rushing + Receiving Yards (-122)

Robinson gets a phenomenal matchup against a Bills defense that is allowing just under 100 yards per game on the ground. We have only seen Buffalo face two (what I would consider) elite RBs this season, and Derrick Henry (182) and De’Von Achane (91) both excelled in this matchup.

I foresee Robinson breaking a huge gain on at least one play, and that would certainly put us in a great position. It’s worth noting he has long gains of 50, 25, 25, and 69 in his four games this season.

The Falcons are coming off a bye week, meaning Robinson is physically ready to go for this matchup. He has been targeted 5+ times in the passing game each time out this season, giving us even more chances to go over the 110-yard mark.

What are the Best Bets for the Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders game?

DJ Moore (CHI): Over 41.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

The Bears are coming off a bye week, and I imagine Bears head/offensive mastermind Ben Johnson thought about ways to get his star WR more touches. Moore is losing targets because of the emergence of fellow teammate Rome Odunze, but I don’t feel like he’s completely lost just yet.

Over the last few games, the Commanders have been coughing up plenty of yardage to WRs, including three different Chargers posting 39+ yards last week. Given the 4.5-point spread, it feels like the Bears will be in plenty of passing situations, further bolstering Moore’s cause to be involved more tonight.

Deebo Samuel (WAS): Anytime TD (+120)

If Terry McLaurin suits up, the Commanders are really putting another decoy out on the field. McLaurin hasn’t played since Week 3, but he’s only got 10 catches (17 targets) for 149 yards and no TDs.

That’s alright, Deebo is here to save the day once again! Since joining the Commanders, Deebo has scored a touchdown in all but one game, and he’s coming off a season-high performance across the board with eight catches (11 targets) for 96 yards and a touchdown last week.

Chicago has been one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season, so it’s highly likely we’ll see Washington buzzing around the end zone all night.
