Best Bets for NBA Friday Games October 31

Friday night is one of the most highly anticipated nights around the league, and this go-round is no exception, as we’ve got eight games to look forward to on Halloween night! Some of the marquee matchups include the Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Lakers at Memphis Grizzlies, and the Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers.

A trio of the NBA’s biggest stars are set to take center stage here on Oct.31, and this article will focus on my best three bets for tonight’s action. I dug into recent performances, player trends, and matchup data to bring you the most compelling prop bets of the night.

Below, you’ll find an in-depth analysis of tonight’s featured players, including Jaylen Brown, Ja Morant, and Nikola Jokic in smash spots against their opposition. Let’s break down why these stars are set up for success and which bets could offer the best value heading into a packed NBA Friday slate.

What are the Best Bets for NBA Games on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025?

Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers | Jaylen Brown: Over 24.5 Points (-125)

Brown has been right around this mark, with 23+ points in four of his five games this season. Over the last few games, though, Brown has really gotten things going, scoring 41 on Sunday against the Pistons and 30 against the Cavs on Wednesday.

We already saw Brown in this matchup for the season opener, and he barely squeaked over this mark, dropping 25 points. In this recent timeframe, we’re starting to see exactly who the Sixers are, and they are allowing the fifth-highest FG% (47.7) to opposing small forwards. It makes sense, considering three different SFs (including Brown) have 8+ FG made against Philly.

In that season opener, the 76ers got the win, so expect Brown to come out firing every chance he gets tonight.

Los Angeles Lakers at Memphis Grizzlies | Ja Morant: Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)

Over the last three games, a total of five point guards (designated by position) have taken the floor against the Lakers – all five of them went over their projected PRA number. It seems almost unbelievable, but we have the most advanced statistics here in the technological age.

Morant is finally getting his stats back up to a respectable level, and his last two games were the only ones where he played 30+ minutes this season. That last game was his best PRA output (43), and with the Grizzlies running the NBA’s fastest pace, somebody has to go right back at the red-hot Austin Reaves. Morant is just the guy for the job!

Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers | Nikola Jokic: Over 48.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (115)

C’mon, you know I wasn’t taking any unders on Friday night! Of course, we have to close it out with one of the NBA’s best, as Jokic is in a prime position to pounce on a Trail Blazers team that is getting bullied by opposing bigs.

Not only does Jokic pass the vibe test tonight, but the statistical backing is there as well. In terms of defending centers, Portland is allowing the most assists per game (4.3), third-most rebounds (13.4), and sixth-most points (20.2) – add that all up, and you get the third-most PRA per game (37.9) to the position.

Obviously, Jokic would need to do a bit more here, but we have plenty of faith in our guy. It’s early in the season, and Jokic has been relatively calm to this point because of blowouts. With this game on the road, the Blazers could be just competitive enough to get Jokic over this mark comfortably.
