Sunday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Bets & 3 Player Props for Steelers at Chargers on Nov. 9

The Pittsburgh Steelers head West to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football in this AFC showdown. LA opened as a 3.5-point favorite, but the sharp action has driven this down to -3, and even -2.5 at most sportsbooks.

And it makes perfect sense, considering the Chargers barely hung on last week against the Tennessee Titans, while the Steelers disposed of the “almighty” Indianapolis Colts rather quickly.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan, a fantasy football addict, or just looking to make SNF a bit more enticing, I’ve got you covered on the best three bets of the night, including some wisdom on Jaylen Warren, Kimani Vidal, and Oronde Gadsden.

Let’s take a look at how these players will fare in the Steelers-Chargers matchup on Sunday Night Football:

Best Bets for Sunday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers

Jaylen Warren: 2+ Touchdowns (+800)

Warren found paydirt twice last week at home against the Colts, and he could very well find himself in a similar spot tonight. Before last week, Warren’s only TD came in the season opener, but injuries/situations have changed, and now he has scooped at least 70% of the Steelers’ carries in each of the last three games.

Pittsburgh is expected to win tonight, so this definitely puts us right in the sweet spot to hit multiple scores. Even better, the Chargers have only allowed one QB to throw multiple TDs against them this season; if Pittsburgh does prevail, the odds are saying that it will likely be on the ground.

Let’s not forget, the Steelers own the NFL’s best turnover differential (+9). If the game script holds true, there is certainly potential for one of those turnovers to land in a favorable position, leading to an extra TD opportunity for the Black and Yellow.

Oronde Gadsden: Over 54.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

If we’re sticking with the same game script, this means the Chargers will likely be in pass-heavy mode. Gadsden has been on a tear of late, grabbing 24 of his 32 catches over the last four weeks; he has turned that into at least 68+ receiving yards in each contest.

The Steelers have been quite generous to opposing TEs, ranking sixth-worst in receiving yards per game (72.6), ninth-worst in targets (8.6), and 11th-worst in receptions (6.3). Just a few weeks ago, a similar-type build of player (Tucker Kraft) went bananas on Pittsburgh, going for a 7-143-2 stat line, which marked one of the best receiving days for any player in the NFL this season.

Kimani Vidal: Under 56.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Including myself, everyone in the prop betting world was burned by this guy last week. Everything was perfectly aligned for Vidal to smash one of the NFL’s worst defenses (the Titans), and he might have spent a little too much time on Broadway before that game. Who am I to hold a personal grudge?

Never mind that, though, as the Steelers defense has been committed to the run each of the last two weeks, bottling up guys like Josh Jacobs (33 rush yards) and Jonathan Taylor (45) in those matchups.

In last week’s matchup, the Chargers leaned on (what seems like RB35 at this point) Jaret Patterson for nine carries, so he could cut into this production here again.
