October 1991 Playmate Cheryl Bachman was very family oriented; her mom and older sister were her “best friends in the whole world,” and she cried when she first spent time away from them. Nadine Chanz, Playboy Germany’s October 1994 Playmate and PLAYBOY’s October 1996 Playmate, gave readers the 411 on how life in her native Germany differs from life in America: Germans, she said, are much shyer than Americans. She also noted the similarities: “We all need to sleep, eat and make love.” Chaz certainly cherished sleeping, especially after a night of clubbing—she told Playboy that one of her turnoffs was clubs that close at two A.M.
